Afternoon Tea with Jack Perez

“I don't want to slow down. I don't need to compromise. I can write the second half of my life however I want.”

Jack Perez, Founder/CEO at Kuel Life

My path crossed with Jack Perez, founder of Kuel Life years and years ago when we were raising our babies. Now that our kids are teens, we find ourselves in the same spot again, birthing businesses.

Jack found her way to entrepreneurship because the corporate path did not fit her bold and colorful personality. Early in her career, she knew she was in the wrong place, “Where did I go wrong? I don’t want to be that person. I want to make real change happen in real time.” She knew she had to build what didn't exist for her.

Jack is fueled by a burning desire to help woman come together to redefine the second half of their life. She was acutely aware of how she was disappearing in society's eyes as she approached midlife and was not about to fade into the background. She is committed to rewrite the rules not just for herself, but for every woman over 45.

How can we collectively help Jack as she pursues her vision of creating an intentional community for women in their second act? Go check out what’s she’s building at Kuel Life. Read her articles and share them on social media. Purchase something from one of the female entrepreneurs she's spotlighting. Tell a friend over 45 about her mission. Reach out to Jack and tell your Kuel Chief story. We are truly better together.

Follow Jack online Kuel Life, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

How do you build a brand when you’ve just moved to a new city and only know four people? Shelley has not only done this, but she’s on a mission to share the lessons learned about how to do it with others. More importantly, she wants to change the experience for new real estate agents and arm them with knowledge so they can be successful from day one, instead of floundering and struggling through frustration and fear. This is a valiant mission since most agents drop out in the first six months because they jumped into an industry they didn’t fully understand and didn’t have the support needed to stay the course.
