Molly McKinley got her start as an art dealer in San Francisco. In the earliest days, she learned about the power of relationships and genuine, white-glove service in the sales process as she sold high-end art to savvy collectors and connoisseurs alike.
In a sliding doors moment, she transitioned into the world of high tech Public Relations and learned the importance of third-party validation and social proof to create loyalty, trust and exposure. These experiences deepened her knowledge of the power of relationships and the importance of “seeing” people and being present in business. For the past six years, she’s been intensely invested in the real estate industry. Her heart is drawn to the individual agent as she understands the challenges of wearing numerous hats while juggling a multitude of competing tasks and priorities. It can be overwhelming, a feeling deeply understood since she is no stranger to the highs and lows of launching, building and growing businesses.
As a dedicated student and yoga teacher, Molly pursued the study of intention and the power of focused effort and purpose. This knowledge, coupled with her marketing prowess, illuminated the notion that thoughtfulness, while creating unexpected, memorable experiences are the ingredients needed to break through today’s noisy and competitive business landscape. The re-insertion of humanity and good ole’ fashioned emotional intelligence of seeing and acknowledging the people that matter most to your business, are the keys to creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. We call this nurture marketing.
With her wife and partner, Stacey Gibbs, by her side, Intentionaliteas was born to solve the problem of how businesses can nurture and love their people well. Driven by the uncompromising pursuit of elevating customer experiences, these women are on a mission to prove that thoughtfulness and intention can change the way we work. Don’t take it from us, most successful businesses understand that’s it much easier and economical to retain customers and employees than to grind in the perpetual acquire, hire and training loop.
So why did we start with tea? Because it's neutral and nurturing. Because sipping tea is a wonderful way to begin a conversation.Tea releases powerful happiness hormones and brings a moment of pause that creates reflection and loyalty. While your people are sipping, they will be thinking of you and the intention sent their way. We can’t think of a better way to start a nurture business, than by actual nurturing. Each aspect of this business was created with purpose on purpose. From supporting women-owned and minority businesses, using only the highest quality ingredients and being purposeful about sustainability and re-use, the company was built with care, decision by decision.
And what if our customers can finally love and care for their people they way they have always wanted to? We intend to find out as generosity is one of the top predictors of business success. We can all be more intentional together.
