The first time I ever met Sue, I was immediately impressed with her confidence. This is the type of confidence that has been earned. Earned from years of hard work, experience, and commitment. She’s the kind of woman that is driven to not let herself and others down and knows the satisfaction of a job well done. This sensibility and emotional intelligence allow her to see the path before her clearly, and she can communicate it better than almost anyone I’ve ever met.
Sue knows it's her season to give others a hand up. She’s had the benefit of people believing in her so uses her voice and power to return the favor. The strength of a diverse team is not lost on Sue and encourages her team to tap into their empathy to truly see each other. This is how business shifts into something more.
Special shout out to next week's guest, Christine Kim, as we explore the idea of moving toward intentional action. Sue prods women to ask the following simple questions: What can I do to help this person? Why does this matter? And the answer is simple because we will not find equality in the workplace until we can formally and informally move toward change and empower the next step.

To say that Sharon Delaney McCloud is superhuman might just be an understatement. Sharon is a mother, an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster, advocate, TEDx Speaker, cancer survivor, author, communications expert, and entrepreneur. It’s near impossible to find something that Sharon has not conquered.
