When Christine has a tough day ahead of her, she has to give herself a mental pep talk to prepare herself to tackle the challenge. She reminds herself that it's not going to roll out the way you think it will. So she releases attachment to the outcome to make space for what will unfold. “Don’t be so married to how you expect it to work out, but be confident that it will work out the way it was meant to.”
Christine reminds us that we can’t put so much pressure on ourselves. Prioritization helps but she doesn’t beat herself up when she can’t take on everything. Some things are okay to wait until tomorrow, and this constant pressure pulls attention away from being present and at your finest. She strives for balance.
My favorite part of the conversation is when Christine asks women to move into action. Whether you’ve had success or are in the process of building something, it's imperative for women to give each other a hand up. This is as simple as making an introduction, buying a product, writing a recommendation, suggesting a sister for the stage and supporting the women in your network. We need to move away from just being emotionally supportive and move toward action-driven support.
How can our intentional community support Christine? Check out what she's building at Climb Real Estate. And, if you are a woman in the trenches at Climb or in the real estate industry, reach out and let us help tell your story. You can do this easily by getting involved in the WomanUP! movement and don't forget to check out Christine's story here.
